Images of Winter

As seems to be the pattern, our adventures were more limited over the winter months. Walks around town, cross-country skiing in the nearby mountains, bike rides, a trip or two to visit parents, and the like. We did have one totally awesome day snowshoeing at Paradise on the slopes of Mt Rainier. We had planned to cross-country ski, but the several feet of fresh snow made that a non-starter! Even with snowshoes, we were knee- to thigh-deep in powder. Great exercise!! The clouds moved in us a bit, but absolutely no complaints! Incredibly beautiful!
